[He takes the beer with a small thanks and settles beside him on the waterlogged wood of the dock and dipping his toes in the water beside Zumi he takes his offered beer and sips, finds it helps combat the heat and the little flurry of nerves.]
[Deki looks momentarily flustered. Oh, how silly of him. Jail for Deki a 1000 years, he must atone.]

[Well it didn’t end with him in the water so he counts it a victory, he still looks very flushed at the memory, what a confusing few days that had been.

S'nice wish we had....more... moments like this, just to relax and not worry about anything...you've always been good at reminding me..to..take some more time for what I want.
[Deki's typically more of the doom and gloom so hearing Zumi come out and say it surprises him but he can't deny he's right, he'd doom scrolled enough articles to know leaving his home was a worse idea.
He takes a long drag in contemplation at that, glancing side ways to Zumi. He isn't sure things will be okay again but he can hope.]
